“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” Ephesians 6 : 18

I firmly believe in the power of prayer and I humbly ask that you take these requests and praises to the Lord. I update this list regularly.

Please pray for….

  • our family both spiritually and physically.
  • our transition to America.
  • God to provide “meaningful work” for us to do in America.
  • our former Togolese employee, Joseph, is HIV positive. Joseph’s wife, Germaine, delivered their twins prematurely on August 17th. Update (4-6-08) the twins are doing well overall, but the little girl might have some developmental delays.
  • the well drilling project - Water for Togo- that our team has started. We have five wells down and many more to go!!

    Dear Tracey,
I clicked on your link from the email you sent and have now spent the entire morning and past noon poring over every picture, every entry - fascinated, thrilled and ooooh! so PROUD of you, Bryan and your family.

It stuns me that you are such a grown, mature woman now.
Probably you have been for a long time. But I have been slow to keep up with you. Have we even seen you since your wedding? I love your perspective and the ways you express yourself. I love the way you think and your deep spirituality. You are a breath of fresh air and a treasure trove of God’s Love. I know what a blessing you all have been for the people there. You are AWESOME!

I know your parents (all 3) are so proud. You reflect the best of each of them…as they reflect the Lord.

God bless you and yours as you prepare to leave this land you’ve grown to love and in which you’ve begun your NEST. However, hot, dry, dirty or poor it may be…(sounds like where I came from in Texas!) you have claimed it and it has claimed your hearts. There will never be another place like it! But God has made us versatile and resilient so we can adapt “to whatever state we are in” :O)
….when the MAIN thing is knowing we have Him with us,that’s when we’re HOME!

(But still, we KNOW this transition will take a lot of prayer and otherwise…. a lot of prayer.)

    Count on ours!

Dale and I will be praying for your long good-bye to be good/pleasant and for a blessed re-entry to the USA.

We hope to see you when you come back.
Meanwhile, I will enjoy visiting your Blog periodically and staying closer “in touch.”

We love you Tracey, Bryan and boys!
    Big Hugs to everyon,
    Dale and Marsha

    Dear Tracey,

This is a great sight and the things that you have shared really touch me and help me to refocus and continue my growth in the Lord. Thank you for sharing!

I know that you will find it tough to readjust to the States when you come back in May 2008. I remember how I felt when I came back from Central America after being there for just 3 years. It was very tough and it took me while to get back into the spirit of America (not sure it was someting I wanted back then). I will pray for your adjustment and for the same for the rest of the family.

I am going to share your sight with the rest of the ladies in our Bible Study Group as I know that they will really enjoy it.

    Take care! Love you!

    Linda

    Linda,
Thanks for your encouraging words! I hope the visit to Togo works out! It would be wonderful to host another group from PRCC! Blessings to you!

    Tracey,
What a blessing and treat to see your blog. I especially loved your blog about being average. I feel that God has been teaching us similar lessons. It’s just not about us, is it? :) Praise God!

I’m saddened and excited at the news you will be returning to the states. Saddened because I have delighted in reading about and praying for you all as God has used you and your family in Togo and I will miss reading about your adventures. Excited though, because it means we will actually probably get to see you all some time. (However, it may be more difficult as we are moving back to Virginia from Texas in January 2008).

I will email soon, (it seems so hard to find the time). Until then, please know that Dan and I will be praying for you and Brian as you prepare for your next mission field. Please let me know if I can help in anyway from here.

    Love,
    April

April!!! You made my day! Thanks for leaving a comment. I have been wondering how you’re doing lately. So, you’re moving? Where exactly in Virginia? Bryan’s dad lives in Maryland near D.C. So, we might be close to you at some point. I would LOVE to see you and your family! Thanks for praying for us and our future. We are excited, but sad too about leaving this place which has become our home. Blessings!!!

Thank you for helping me with the Bible verse; Thererfore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…

It has been on my mind since we took a family “REcreation” in June. and I needed it for a friend today. You’re blog came up when I googled the beginning of the verse.

I am sorry for your loss, and happy for your many blessings. God is very good.

    Thanks again,
    Sincerely,
    Nancy
