Summer is here at last! The boys are feeling elated that school is out and “bored with nothing to do except go to the pool” (in their words) which is just a ploy to get to the pool daily. Of course, I don’t stand for the bored attitude. I have a list on the fridge to direct them to if they dare utter the words. We are doing a little school work every week day to keep their skills active. Graham and I are working intensely on his reading in hope of growing one school year over the summer. Please keep us in your prayers! We are managing to still squeeze in plenty of time at the pool and a few other adventures to keep summer fun and make memories. Oooh, I LOVE the list on the fridge idea! “I’m bored” is my pet peeve, but I haven’t found an effective way to combat it. But I definitely have a list of things they can do around the house. Perfect!
