Pumpkin Patch

Today, the boys and I did something I’ve been waiting years to do.  We visited a pumpkin patch!  This is the first fall since 2001 that our family has been in the States for the autumn season.  Admission to the patch was free.  They had bounce houses, mazes and a hayride!  We picked a large pumpkin to take home, but put it back when the cost was $25.  On the way home we stopped by a grocery store and bought two comparable pumpkins for $7.  Anyway, we had a great time.  It’s starting to feel like fall…if only the weather would cooperate!

Beautiful pictures! There’s just something so wonderful and warm about fall colors, and pumpkin patch pictures capture that feeling to a T!
How’s teaching going? I’ve noticed you haven’t blogged as much. I take it your busier than before. Blessings!

Aww, this was fun to see. I’ll need to show Asher. He’s been talking about Owen recently and always includes him in the preschool gang. When we were in Searcy I took the kiddos to a pumpkin patch in LR. I was surprised at how much it cost too and was about to put it back when they took pity on me and let me have it for next to nothing. I think it was the fact that I had three kiddos with me and I was pregnant. hee-hee
    Love to your fam!
I should’ve stuffed a pillow under my shirt. Oh well, we had a great time at the patch without actually getting our pumpkin there. I hope you guys are doing well. Love you!

So you might agree that my medium sized pumpkins costing 60 cents each was a good deal? I was aghast at the Texas pumpkin prices! I’d like to take our kids to a corn maze. I shall put that on my list.
Really? Sixty cents each? I need proof.
