“Goodbye Charger!!! We love you!” We said our final goodbye to our family pet, Charger. It was difficult to watch Bryan drive off with him today. However, I take comfort in the fact that he’s going to live with a really great dog-friendly family- the Koonces in Tabligo. They have a female Rhodesian Ridgeback named Penny so I think Charger will be very happy.

This picture brings tears to my eyes. We LOVED our dog, Booker, that we left in Benin. He went to the only person that I think loved him as much as we did, Sossa, our day guard. Even today, Timo said to me, “Mom I really need to go to Benin and check on Booker.” He still is a part of my children’s prayers on most nights. I find myself with an aching heart in prayer for your family right now. Press on!
